N2 - The paper presents the main aspects of the development and implementation of a system that allows predicting climate risks for forestry on the basis of retrospective and forecast data. The existing variants of software for determining the hazard level of climatic risks in forestry are considered. The methods of analyzing climatic data are described and an original algorithm for calculating the danger level of risks is proposed. Particular attention is paid to the practical application of the system: examples of its use to assess the risks of forest fires, forest pests and diseases, changes in productivity and species composition, as well as the death of forest plantations from extreme weather events are given. Recommendations derived from the interpretation of the program results can be used by executive authorities for forest planning purposes, in particular, for the development of adaptation measures. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
