In transosseous osteosynthesis, preoperative preparation includes clinical examination of the patient’s general condition and the local status of the surgical site. Laboratory tests consist of general analysis of blood and urine, blood group and Rhesus factor determination, blood sugar and serum albumin levels, coagulation tests, determination of markers of hepatitis B and C, HIV status, and the Wassermann test.
