The aim of this paper is to research the challenges related to the ways of advancing management of multi-sided platforms within local and multinational firms that have subsidiaries spread across cultures and economic regions and the means of innovating through their use. The paper explores challenges and opportunities that arise in construction of local MSP’s competitiveness in Russia: both for competitiveness policies and for MSP management.
