An examination is made of questions of the structuring and formation of a knowledge base in an automated system of psychological testing (AUTomatic ANalyzer of TESTs). A model of the field in question that can be realized as a hierarchical system of frames is proposed. The process of forming new concepts by the methods of structural recognition of patterns is described.
