N2 - A general formula has been derived for the capillary pressure created by a curved interface between fluid phases for a case that is extremely common under dynamic conditions when surfactants are present, when the interfacial tension is a tensor. The formula has its simplest form and is most similar to the Laplace formula in a system of principal sections of the surface and in a system of principal directions for a two-dimensional tension tensor.
