Crack propagation is investigated experimentally in polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) under shock loading conditions generated by pulse magnetic field. Using microstructural investigation, the dynamic fracture surfaces of PMMA were analyzed and compared depending on the distance from notch tip. Diagram of various fracture types depending on the pulse loading duration has been constructed.
