Recent international projects in which Russia has participated have made it possible to create new computer grids of data on the Arctic Ocean, including grids of the anomalous magnetic field The last grid contains the most complete and reliable advanced information on the anomalous magnetic field of the Amerasia Basin and provides prerequisites for its interpretation at a qualitatively new level. Three series of seafloor spreading-type magnetic anomalies were revealed and identified in the Alpha Ridge area and adjacent parts of the Canada Basin. The source rocks of these anomalies formed near three spreading centers (SC) in the Late Jurassic-earliest Cretaceous.
