The two- and three-electron corrections of order α² were studied. All these contributions were evaluated to the 2p_1/2-2s transition energy in Li-like high-Z ions. For this purpose, a rigorous QED calculation of the two-photon exchange diagrams and an evaluation of the three-photon exchange correction within the Breit approximation were carried out. The total accuracy of the theoretical predictions was significantly improved.
