The problem of effectiveness of two-dimensional and three-dimensional presentations of the visual information and their conjunction with physical reality is considered. Several problems are analyzed which occur while embedding more dimensions into user interfaces, their probable fields of application are being studied. The question of implementation of multidimensional spatial solutions in multimodal interfaces is stated.
