Wild edible plants play an important role in ensuring food and livelihood security for most ethnic minorities occurring in Pu Luong Nature Reserve. These plants are commonly consumed as raw fresh or cooked vegetables. In this study, scientific and local names, utilized plant parts along with habit and indigenous uses were identified. The study identified 52 plant species of wild edible plants, which belong to 38 families, 49 genera, and 52 species. Among them, 24 species are trees, 11 herbs, 9 shrubs, and 8 climbers. The study results contribute significantly to scientific data on the diversity of wild edible plants in Vietnam.
