The processes of globalization have an impact on the entire world
community, and on the German-speaking community in particular. Every year the
number of English-language borrowings from the donor language increases, and
thus whole words, phrases, and even concepts in modern German are" dying out".
As a result of the progressive influence of English on German, the concept of
Denglish has emerged, which is a mixture of English and German due to the
presence of a large number of borrowed words in the latter. This phenomenon is
most clearly represented in the language of German-speaking bloggers.
