The paper examines the problem of ensuring global security in the context of a coro-navirus pandemic. The situation has acquired broad socio-philosophical and humanitarian significance. It becomes especially important to inform people objectively through the mass media system, as well as the quality of analytical conclusions of experts representing different areas of society's life. The demand for publications, first of all, of high-quality media and opinions of competent experts who have the opportunity to speak in public space is increasing. These are, first of all, specialists in the field of infectious diseases, immunology, pulmonology and other areas related to the disease. The role of social and medical anthropologists has increased. There are signs of the formation of an updated system of media and expert discourses that are focused on ensuring and strengthening the global security of the international community. The situation has made significant adjustments in the field of pragmalinguistics and discourse: the coronavirus has become the subject of an unprecedented amount of textual materials and has led to the emergence of discourse as a global updated megatext. The primary role in its formation is played by the mass media, which, in the context of a pandemic, themselves are experiencing significant difficulties. It is the mass media that are called upon to resist the spread of fake information, whipping up fears, causing all kinds of phobias and provoking people to inappropriate actions that harm their health and threaten their lives. The article expresses a desire to stimulate publications of the analytical direction, as well as the speeches of journalists on the topics of morality and social behavior. These publications would enable people to better understand the collisions of the coronavirus pandemic and more clearly build a model of their behavior.
