We present a calculation of the interelectronic-interaction correction of first order in 1/Z for radiative recombination of an electron with a heavy He-like ion in the ground state. A rigorous relativistic treatment is demonstrated which includes the Coulomb, Breit and retarded parts of the interelectronic interaction. A complete relativistic evaluation is compared with two frequently used approximations.
