Social media serve as a focal point for representatives of these generations, who can interact within thematic public communities on platforms like VK.com. This study investigates the relationship between internet users' age, their commenting activity, and the topics of virtual communities using VK.com data. Specifically, it seeks to identify homogeneous and heterogeneous digital spaces across different community types and to characterize the nature of activity within them.
