A number of papers are known to be devoted to the application of multilayer monochromators in neutron reflectometry. A specific variant of using double multilayer monochromators in a polarizing neutron reflectometer is proposed. The possibility of using similar double multilayer monochromators in synchrotron reflectometry is also considered.
