Based on the analysis of fictional texts by mid-XIX – early XXI century
English-speaking authors, the article discusses the possibilities of representing
the concept DISRESPECT at various grammatical levels, including the level of
a word, phrase, sentence and text. The article demonstrates the important role
of the cognitive context in identifying the said concept.
