To be going to is analyzed within the new holistic approach to language as a form of cognitive behaviour aimed at the adaptation to the environment in the moment of speech. Speech context and perception of a person serve as the core elemnts of in interpretation of language. The method of the research is the cognitive analysis of language. The construction does not show the futurity that is created in the person's mind. It represents the result of perception of space by a person.
