The work is devoted to the study of the imitation computer game CoMPAS influence on schoolchildren in teaching ecology, economics and sociology in secondary school. The purpose of the study is to test the hypothesis about the effectiveness of a computer application in the development of the ability to make rational decisions in the field of territorial management, taking into account environmental, economic and social factors within the framework of this game. The results of 143 schoolchildren were obtained, who took part in two attempts at a game session. The results of the experiment showed an increase in the average values of indicators of the virtual territories development, which allowed us to assume a significant change in the understanding of the participants, making rational decisions in the field of ecological, economic and social development of the region. Testing the hypothesis of a significant change in arithmetic means showed that in 99% of cases, schoolchildren improved their skills and gained an understanding of basic aspects in management, taking into account three main indicators of development: per capita income, environmental quality index and life quality index.
