The article deals with Ukrainian-Turkish relations which, after a series of events in 2014, began to be strategic in nature. This was followed by the pro-Western policy of the Ukrainian government and the “airplane crisis” between Russia and Turkey. The article considers Ukrainian-Turkish cooperation in the military-political, economic, cultural spheres for 2014-2019. Analyzing the current state of Ukrainian-Turkish relations the author focuses on Turkey's support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine, the signing of an agreement on a free trade zone between countries and the issue of Crimean Tatars. The article analyzes the treaties and agreements between the Black Sea countries and the directions for the further development of relations are identified. In conclusion, attention is focused on a few contradictions that exist between Ukraine and Turkey and a general assessment of the prospects for Ukrainian-Turkish relations is given
