The article deals with the relationship between Soviet Russia and Turkey in the period of 1918-1922. The Author considers the inconsistency of the Soviet state's assistance to Turkey, its contribution to the victory of the national liberation movement under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal in the current geopolitical situation, concludes about the nature of the relationship between Soviet Russia and Turkey.
