This article presents a case report of a patient with comorbidity of bipolar affective II type disorder and borderline personality disorder. The authors discuss symptoms’ overlap and bidirectional influence of these disorders and difficulties in differential diagnosis. Modern therapeutic approaches to separate and simultaneous treatment of bipolar II and borderline personality disorders are observed.
