The titanosilicates of the lintisite group and their only synthetic analogue AM-4 (Aveiro-Manchester-4), Na3(Na, H)Ti2O2[Si2O6] 2·2H2O, are of particular interest for the purposes of modern materials science because of their sorption properties similar to those of zeolites, and also the ability of their crystal structure to transform in acidic media according to the “single crystal in single crystal” scheme. This opens up new ways of synthesis based on decationized AM-4 materials with predetermined properties. The paper provides an overview of the promising areas of application of these titanosilicates, proposed by both the authors of the article and a number of foreign researchers. The importance of AM-4 synthesis for industry has been shown. The main problem of the conventional AM-4 synthesis scheme has been revealed. Recommendations on its solution, as well as on the use of synthesis of by-products in order to improve their utilization, have been propo
