The results of a pilot empirical study of the sociodynamics of the values of the Generation Y are presented on the example of students in various regions of the Russian Federation. The features of perception of representatives of this generation of samples and standards ofsocial imitation have been systematized. Based on the analysis, the research hypotheses have been formed. For the first time, the parameter “value potential of the network” has been applied to the analysis of the value networks of the Generation Y. Conclusions have been drawn about the peculiarities of the Y generation values in various regions of Russia.
