The article attempts to reveal the main administrative consequences of the Telegram blocking on the territory of Russia. The legal basis and legitimacy of the blocking of the messenger by the state authorities is being investigated. The author analyzes the main reasons for the ineffectiveness of this administrative decision and demonstrates that not all state institutions and corporations are ideological supporters of the messenger blocking. The mechanisms of overcoming the blocking by various subjects of communication are described.
