The article contains the description of the new information resource created on a hosting in the data-processing center of St. Petersburg State University. The publication describes the purpose, tasks, contents of the electronic project “Ruling elite of the Russian state of the last quarter of the 15th - the middle of the 16th century” (http://ruling-elite.spbu.ru/) , and also demonstrates its technical characteristics, opportunities and the prospects of further development. The authors characterize the contents of official cards with the biographic information about representatives of the Sovereign court, explain the resource interface device, report the results of the conducted researches which were reflected in a number of publications.
