The article based on archival materials studies the role of Leningrad department of Industrial Bank in the financing of city's enterprises. It emphasizes that the city's authorities tried to increase efficiency of functioning of this credit institution. The author shows statistical information, characterizing the dynamics of this financial institute. This article lists the main city's enterprises which were serviced by employees of this Bank. It concludes that after the complete removing of the Siege of Leningrad the amount of financial transactions of the Industrial Bank with clients in comparison with previous years increased significantly. Amount of financing increased more than 5 times and it corresponded to the activity of the department in the pre-war years.
