In the educational standards, which represent requirements for skills in speech activity, there is no detailed typology of texts corresponding to the level of language proficiency. Work in this direction is carried out by the developers of the "Linguodidactical description of competencies in the field of Russian as a foreign language (level B2 / TRKI-2)". The article offers the foundations of typology and repertoire of speech genres on the material of the theme "Private human life" applied to the specified level.
