The study makes an assumption that "The Fairytale about a Silly Little Mouse' by S. Ya. Marshak was written using the folklore plot about a vain little mouse (in an english and an spanish version) which ca be the later variant of folklore type about the wedding between a moise and a cricket. The study demonstrates the transformation of the folklore plot in Marshak's fairytale.
