The development of national evidence bases in the Year of Health Protection in the CIS Member States is a strategic step that makes it possible to move from fragmented cooperation to the formation of common international approaches to the scientific and technological space of the CIS. The purpose of this article is to identify strategic vectors for the development of national evidence bases in the CIS Member States as a foundation for the long-term sustainability of healthcare systems. The concept of a unified scientific and evidence-based space of the CIS is proposed. There is a need to develop methodological guidelines for conducting preclinical and clinical research, systematic reviews and clinical practice guidelines, health technology assessment and healthcare management technology assessment, evaluation and quality management of medical care, as well as methodologies for improving patient registries and the use of real-world clinical data for CIS countries.
