The article examines the strategic interests of Denmark in the Arctic. It describe the current state of relations between the Kingdom of Denmark and its territories, as well as the problems and prospects of the country's regional policy are described in detail. The necessity of strengthening close relations of states with Greenland in the process of strategic claims to the Arctic territories is substantiated. Considered the historical prerequisites for building close ties with the Kingdom of Denmark. The problem of separatism of the Danish territories is described. The article illustrates Denmark's aspirations to increase its international prestige through establishing partnerships with Arctic states through dialogue and cooperation in various declarations and organizations. The proposals on the settlement of internal territorial problems are described.
