The problematic situations causes analysis when choosing a profession, primarily by schoolchildren, is performed. The aspects of choosing a lifeguard profession are investigated. There are described: the methodical approach to the implementation of student-oriented concept for the selection of applicants to higher educational institutions of EMERCOM of Russia, as well as modern developed psycho-diagnostic complex “Personal potential readiness to the profession acquisition”.
