Over the past 10 years new immunological methods for diagnosis of tuberculosis (T-SPOT.TB, QuantiFERON-TB Gold and Diaskintest) have been introduced into national and international practice. They allow differentiating infectious and post-vaccine allergies in pediatric practice, as well as diagnosing tuberculosis. At the present time all tests have comparable diagnostic sensitivity and specificity in the absence of immunosuppression. However patients with comorbidity need differentiated approach to the choice of test. Correct choice of immunological test guarantees high diagnostic efficacy (91.4%) in comparison with standard complex, at the earliest stages of its manifestations and with appearance of characteristic clinical and radiological symptoms.
