The article is devoted to the way in which the Russian émigré poet Nikolai Gronskii describes the Finns in Finland. It also traces the sources of Finnish mythology in Gronskii’s work and pays particular attention to the correspondences between Gronskii’s poem ‘Finlandia’ and sketches by Vl. Solov’ev.
