N2 - This article is devoted to the first results of the introduction of woody plants at experimental sites in the North conditions. For the experiment were selected venues in 6 towns of the Yamal-Nenets autonomous district. Plants were selected according to similar climatic analogues. The total number of introduced plants in the first year of trials consisted of more than 1,500 copies. With high probability these taxa of as: Swida alba (L.) Opiz 'Sibirica Variegata', Salix elegantissima Koch, S. alba L., S. acutifolia Willd., S. x rubens Schrank, Pinus banksiana Lamb. not suitable for cultivation in the climate of the autonomous district. These taxa have fallen completely in all the experimental sites and further testing would be impractical. The promising types include: Picea pungens Engelm. f. glauca, Abies nephrolepis Maxim., A. balsamea (L.) Mill., Ribes nigrum L. 'Binar', Fadus avium Mill. 'Red, Salix schwerinii Wolf, Caragana arborescens Lam., Pinus pumila (Pall.) Regel. etc . These taxa of in addition to high safety gave the gains and showed the highest score of the vital state. According to a preliminary estimate of the success of the introduction of the plants can be divided into 3 groups: 1. Plants conditionally promising (or fallen almost fell in the first year in pilot sites) 2. Plants conditional perspective (preserved in almost all experimental sites, good or excellent condition, given the increase) 3. Plants that require further testing (lost during transport, the transplant had a poor root system remaining on the part of the grounds, but gave little or no gave the following year increments). The first year of the test species has revealed the least, and more promising for further testing and cultivation in the North. However, at this stage all the plants wintered under snow cover, which in turn protect them from the adverse impact of winter conditions. Further observations of the plants on the experimental sites will clarify our preliminary results and justified to make a promising range of taxa of woody plants.
