In the context of aggravated social, political, economic and international contradictions, the problem of conflict and conflict management is of particular relevance, both for individual societies and for the world community as a whole. The III St. Petersburg International Conflict Congress “Conflict Management of the 21st Century: Ways and Means to Strengthen Peace”, which took place from November 15 to 16, 2019 at St. Petersburg State University, was devoted to these issues. The organizers of the congress set themselves the task of discussing urgent theoretical and methodological problems of the state and development of conflict management as a science and educational discipline, research and conflict management in various areas of society, technology and conflict resolution techniques. Over 200 people, including, attended the congress: representatives of 61 universities, government institutions, practicing lawyers, mediators from Russia, the USA, Spain, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Japan, Iraq, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan. As part of the events, plenary and sectional meetings were held, master classes and expert discussions took place.
