The study showed that it is the everyday stressors that play a key role in the level of perceived stress, as well as the functional performance of women, compared with life events. The most significant role in coping with stress is played by the coping strategy "Problem Solving", while the coping strategies "Taking responsibility" and "Searching for social support" enhance the perception of stress. Differences in groups of women with different marital status are manifested more in correlations with psychological and physiological resources than in level characteristics.
