The article is devoted to the problem of selecting the control objects and parameters for evaluation of the communicative competence in the state testing system TORFL (level B2). The increase in the cognitive-communicative approach due to the introduction of a systematic approach to the description of the discursive competence is considered to be the basic direction of tests modification. The possibility of building a test model variant is described.
