The article provides an overview of e-government development in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Given the history and specifics of regional cooperation in the framework of post-Soviet space, as well as international best practices of innovation in the field of information and communication technologies in regional blocks, the authors conducted a study on the problems, goals and objectives, as well as the prospects of e-government development in the member countries of EAEU. The research methodology is based on three stages of regionalism, proposed by Van Langenhove and Costea (2005). The research methodology combines qualitative and quantitative methods. This approach allowed us to quickly learn the progress of e-government development in the EAEU countries with international sources and to identify the problems and perspectives through expert survey.
