The paper studies the issue of reproduction of language game, appearing in American series, such as 2 Broke Girls, The Office and How I met your mother, into Russian. In this article authors attempt to define the basic translation techniques of language game, describe some features of the main translation strategy and analyze the existing translation variants. During our research we found out that the authors of the translation of language game used various translation techniques, e. g. compensation, adaptation, equivalence and loan translation. However, the most wide-spread method is omission.
