The Article examines the methodic of composing questions for Olympiad in History in SPbSU on the example of themes, related with the history of Great Patriotic War. Types of questions, their aims and purposes are analyzed. Emphasizes the importance of composing the questions in order to reveal talented school students, promising students, highly educated, with a wide range of knowledge in the Humanities.
