The article analyzes various approaches to the fight
against corruption. The experience of struggle against this phenomenon by
authoritarian methods on the example of modern practice of Singapore is
considered. The article further analyzes democratic methods of fighting
corruption in the case of Sweden and Finland. The main differences of these
methods highlighted. The authoritarian method of fighting corruption,
according to the author, based mainly on the political will of the country's
leader, and the democratic method – on the transparency of control and
governance mechanisms.
