N2 - The Boltzman H-function and the Fokker-Planck kinetic equation are used to investigate relaxation of the distribution function with respect to the transverse phase coordinates of a relativistic charged-particle beam that propagates in a gas-plasma medium with an external magnetic field. The form of the asymptotic (with respect to time) distribution function is obtained, and an estimate for the time of relaxation to the distribution function in question is given.
