The article looks at the Eurasian economic integration as a systemic element of the emerging new model of globalization, discusses the mutual relations and dependencies among integration-based organizations created on the post-Soviet space, and analyzes the negative consequences of anti-Eurasian path chosen by a number of CIS countries. Special attention is paid to contradictions involved in EEU formation and development; the authors argue that their resolution should be seen as the major driving force of this union.
