The article shows results of the study of the features of emotional regulation in connection with the time perspective of the personality of patients with alcohol dependence. According to the results of complex clinical psychological and experimental psychological research using 6 psychodiagnostic methods: Hospital Anxiety and Depression scale (HADS), State Trait Anger Expression Inventory of C.D. Spielberger (STAXI), Cognitive Emotional Regulation Questionnaire of N. Garnefski & V. Kraaij (CERQ), Difficulties in emotion regulation scale of K.L. Gratz & L. Roemer (DERS), Penn Alcohol Craving Scale of B.A. Flannery, J.R. Volpicelli, H.M. Pettinati (PACS) and Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (ZTPI). It was found that there are connections between self-regulation and various time parameters. The results describe the five-factor structure of regulatory activity in alcoholism represented by the factors «Deficiency of regulatory experience», «Low reflection level», «Destructive cognitive regulation», «Disengagement» and «Ambivalent regulation». The study shows the influence of the system of relation to time and affective states on factor solutions.
