The article is dedicated to the problem of high requirements for the ability to work with educational texts and the low level of development of these abilities in students. The solution to this contradiction could be identification of intellectual operations, which are most related to strategies of educational texts, understanding and their further development in students. Thereby, this could increase the quality of understanding of educational information provided in the form of text.
