The paper deals with the study of linguistic expressing of superstitions in Russian and Chinese cultures. 358 Russian superstitions and 185 Chinese superstitions have been received as the result of the survey of 50 Russian and 27 Chinese students. In addition, material from the National Corpus of Russian language, dictionaries and researches of other authors have also been collected. A comparative study of the superstitions in Russian and Chinese language and their linguistic analysis were conducted.
