The article describes a new trend in international regulation of countries' development - the "Sustainable Development Goals". The authors are convinced that its implementation is intended, first, to reorient the development goals of States from the economy to a wide range of objectives, and secondly, to show the effectiveness of national governments by estimating the results of their work in the form of annual ratings. The authors analyzed the first report of the Russian Federation submitted to the UN, comparing data on health indicators of our country and the global average. At the same time, they revealed that there are still not all data collection methods in the Russian Federation statistics , as well as the fact that not all indicators were provided in its Review, 2020.
