The article is devoted to theoretical and scientific-conceptual substantiation of development of partnership alma-mate and its trainees on the basis of mentor programs in ensuring growth of social and economic effects at the level of region and country. This study is based on theoretical and empirical analysis of mentory studies in the university community, as well as the results of in-depth interviews with graduate mentors of Saint Petersburg State University. The active inclusion of graduates in the educational ecosystem becomes an important element of university development strategies. Especially valuable is the participation of graduates in the role of mentors - senior colleagues who transmit knowledge, help in career navigation and formation of professional identity. The results of the study confirm that participation in the program brings tangible benefits to both mentors and mentees, but its sustainability requires structured support, harmonization of expectations and an individualized approach. Practical recommendations on the introduction and optimization of mentor programs in Russian higher school are offered. The article presents typology of interaction, best practices, as well as practical tools implemented by mentors-participants of the program for the most effective interaction with students. The feasibility of using co-integration methods in designing long-term sustainable partnerships between the university, graduates, students and the presence region has been conceptualized. This conceptual assumption determines the prospects of further use of co-integration methods in interdisciplinary studies of production of social and economic effects from the implementation of mental programs. The study confirmed the hypothesis that a mentor program at a university, as an essential technology for integrating knowledge and innovation between the university, graduates and professional environment, contributes to social growth. Economic effects through ensuring sustainable linkages in the system of partnerships by identifying and adjusting co-integrating interactions. It is emphasized the need to focus on the sustainability of implementation of mental programs in generating socio-economic effects for sustainable development of the economy and society as a whole.
