The article examines the problem of using psychological feature films in the process of teaching a foreign language to future psychologists. The author suggests a methodology of working with psychological feature films in the process of teaching English to future psychologists. Work with an English feature film includes three stages: preview, viewing and evaluation. A feature film is divided into a sequence of logically complete episodes. During viewing self-observation and self-analysis are carried out. At the evaluation stage analysis and synthesis of a feature film material are conducted according to the following criteria: fact material perception and emotional influence.
