The article discusses a fundamental research by V.T. Ryazanov “(Non-)real Capitalism. Political Economy of Crisis and Its Consequences for the Global Economy and Russia.” The author focuses on a number of new ideas developed in this research related to the specificities and the nature of evolution of socio-economic systems in Russia, China and the United States, discusses the notion of integrational order (or convergent social system), and distinguishes contradictions and ambivalent consequences of the new type of civilizational development
